SOLENT BAREBOAT YACHT CHARTER
Yachts can be hired on a bareboat charter basis (without Hurst Point skipper) provided bareboat qualifications and experience is held. In this case another member of the crew should be able to take charge of the yacht if an emergency were to arise, given the intended cruising destination. Should you have any further queries regarding the qualifications required, please get in touch with us via the contact button. A security deposit of £750 is required for the bareboat sailing charter to cover any uninsured loss or damage. Depending on the yacht, the security deposit is refunded before you depart for home on the safe return of the yacht. We take this mainly on trust as we understand that it is unreasonable for this further amount to be deducted from customers bank accounts in advance. We can give you further details if you decide to go ahead and book.
The standard times of bareboat holidays are as follows: Day Charter: 0830hrs to 1800hrs Weekend Charter: Friday1800hrs to Sunday 1700hrs Weekly Charter: Friday 1800hrs to Friday 1600hrs or Sunday 1900hrs to Sunday 1700hrs We can however accommodate late night hand over if required or late arrival by use of our mobile phone contact number. On arrival, tea and coffee will be available whilst the hand over, consisting of a safety briefing, demonstration of the yachts equipment and inspection of the yachts condition and inventory takes place. One hour should be envisaged for this activity. Sleeping bags can be provided (£15 each or £5 to hire) and groceries delivered to the yacht at cost price plus a service charge of £5 up to £30 till receipt, £10 service charge thereafter. Several supermarkets are close by including Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose. The bare boat yacht charter price includes all on board gas and electricity, parking, showers and mooring fees at the home marina. Also included is cleaning on return. |
